Why is my geyser not heating water?
A geyser that isn't heating usually has a burnt heating element, a faulty thermostat, a tripped MCB, or heavy scale build-up from hard water coating the element. You can reset a tripped breaker once, but a failed element or thermostat is an electrical repair that needs a trained technician.
Why is my geyser leaking water?
Leaks commonly come from a worn inlet/outlet valve, a failed pressure relief valve, or a cracked inner tank from corrosion or excess pressure. Since geysers combine water, electricity and pressure, don't attempt this yourself — switch off the unit and call a technician.
Why does my geyser trip the MCB or circuit breaker?
Repeated tripping usually means a short in the heating element, moisture in the wiring, or an earth-leakage fault. This is an electrical safety issue — never keep resetting the breaker repeatedly; get a technician to check the element and wiring before using it again.
Why is my geyser taking too long to heat water?
Slow heating is often due to scale build-up insulating the heating element (common with Bengaluru's hard water in some areas), a partially failed element, or an incorrectly set thermostat. Scale build-up needs a professional descale and element check to restore normal heating time.
Why is my geyser making noise?
