Washing Machine Not Spinning Repair in Bangalore
A machine that washes fine but won't spin is usually telling you something specific -- and in most cases the spin motor is the last thing at fault, not the first.

Why a washing machine washes but won't spin, and what actually fixes it
Almost every washing machine refuses to spin for one of six reasons, and they are not equally likely. A technician works through them in a rough order of probability rather than opening the machine up at random -- which is why a proper diagnosis takes twenty minutes and a guess can cost you a part you never needed.
It hasn't finished draining. This is the first thing to check and the most common cause by a distance. Practically every machine is designed to refuse the spin cycle while water is still in the drum, because spinning a full drum is both useless and dangerous. So a blocked drain pump filter, a jammed pump impeller or a kinked outlet hose shows up to the user as 'the spin is broken' when the spin motor is perfectly healthy. Clearing the blockage fixes it.
The lid switch or door interlock has failed. Machines will not spin unless they are certain the lid or door is shut. Top-load machines use a small lid switch that wears out mechanically; front-load machines use an electrical door interlock that also physically locks. When either fails, the machine behaves as though the door is permanently open -- it will wash, but never spin.
The drive belt is worn or broken. On belt-driven machines the belt stretches and glazes over the years. A slipping belt often still manages the slow wash rotation but cannot bring the drum up to spin speed. You can sometimes hear the motor running normally while the drum barely moves.
Motor brushes or the capacitor have gone. Carbon brushes are a wear part and are meant to be replaced. The start capacitor is what gives the motor the torque to accelerate into a spin -- a weak one leaves you with a motor that hums but won't get going.
The load is unbalanced. A single heavy item like a bedsheet or a floor mat bunches to one side, the machine detects the wobble and aborts the spin to protect its own bearings. It is doing the right thing. Redistributing the load is the whole fix.
Only after all of that does the control board come into question. If a technician's first suggestion is a new PCB or a new motor without having checked the drain and the door switch, get a second opinion.

Washing Machine Not Spinning Repair in Bangalore — frequently asked questions.
Why does my washing machine wash but not spin?
In most cases the machine still has water in the drum -- nearly every washing machine refuses to spin until it has fully drained, so a blocked pump filter or kinked drain hose shows up as a spin failure. A failed lid switch or door interlock is the next most common cause.
Is a machine that won't spin worth repairing?
Usually yes. The common causes -- a blocked drain, a lid switch, a drive belt, carbon brushes or a capacitor -- are all inexpensive parts. It is only worth reconsidering if the drum bearings or the control board have failed on an older machine.
Can I fix the spin problem myself?
Clearing the drain pump filter and redistributing an unbalanced load are both reasonable to try yourself, and they solve a good share of cases. Anything involving the lid switch, belt, motor or capacitor means working around mains voltage and is a technician job.
My clothes come out soaking wet after the cycle. Same problem?
Yes, that is the same fault seen from the other end -- if the final spin never ran, the clothes never got wrung out. The diagnosis is identical, starting with whether the machine is draining properly.
How long does this repair take?
A drain blockage or lid switch is usually resolved within the same visit. A belt, capacitor or carbon brush replacement is also typically same-visit provided the part is a common one; less common motor parts may need a second visit.
90-day service warranty, on every job.
If the exact same fault returns within 90 days of the visit, we fix it again at no charge — written on your digital bill, not just promised verbally. Replaced parts also carry the supplier's own part warranty on top.
